PRAXI Network is an established technology transfer organization with long-standing experience in assisting SMEs and RTD organizations throughout Greece to achieve cross-border technological cooperation. It is a distinct administrative unit operating within the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), the most active research organization of Greece. It promotes Greek technologies abroad, while also it identifies technology, research and business partners from abroad for Greek organisations and facilitates the transnational cooperation by providing added value innovation services. Company missions, matchmaking events, customised innovation services and seminars are some of the tools and practices employed.
Innovative Products and Services
PRAXI Network offers consulting to enterprises on innovation management using advanced methodologies and tools. In this context, strategic information and guidance is provided to RTOs and new technology based firms in respect to commercial exploitation of research results, licensing and spinning off/out.
Experience and Expertise
With an experience of over 25 years in technology transfer, PRAXI Network coordinates the Enterprise Europe Network – Hellas, the Greek member of the largest business support network in Europe, bringing together around 600 business support organisations from more than 60 countries. Furthermore, it has a broad international spread of activities, beyond Europe, aiming at the development of strong research and technology ties with stakeholders from all over the world. Since 1999, the General Secretariat for Research & Technology in Greece appoints PRAXI Network as the National Contact Point (NCP) for the 5th, 6th and 7th Framework Programmes for Research and Technological Development and currently Horizon 2020, rendering it an official entity for information and advisory support for EU-funded research programmes.
Since 2011, PRAXI Network has been the motivator and the facilitator of the Hellenic Photonics Cluster.
